Beyond Abstraction
Beyond Abstraction is a storytelling magazine, "Behind the lines" Edition lists the hidden emotional and technical stories behind artworks, paintings, illustrations, photographs, and unique art pieces.
This project was a group project between Salma Alharbi and me; we both shared our passion for abstract art, so we wanted to dig deeper into the stories behind the art we love.
We have interviewed artists and asked them to tell us their story so we can narrate it through this edition of the magazine.
The pages are designed based on the edition. This edition was all about lines and lenses, therefore the inspiration.

The layout was minimal so as not to distract the audience from the artwork.
We are investigating and collecting information about what's hidden behind macro photography and the concepts and ideas.
The outcome was a printed magazine that told the stories behind the abstract lines.
